Buy OM4 Square Tube: It is a thermoplastic composite manufacturing process in which the fibrous reinforcement and thermoplastic matrix are placed on the tool in the desired order and spot welded to ensure that the stacked layers do not move relative to each other. The entire assembly is then vacuum packed and placed in an autoclave. After the process cycle, the part is removed from the tool. Intermediate forms of thermoplastic composites between those of hybrid yarns and prepregs offer better processability in this technique. This process is similar to the hot pressing technique, the only difference is the way pressure and heat are applied. Composites for aerospace applications are the main products produced by this technique due to its versatile fiber orientation, higher fiber volume fraction and the quality of the material produced.
